CAF-FCA is sharing information about apprenticeship with youth (aged 16 to 24), parents and newcomers. Workshops about career exploration, employability skills, and connecting with employers via Apprenticesearch.com will be offered. CAF-FCA is receiving guidance and feedback from Alberta apprenticeship stakeholders who are a part of the Project Advisory Committee. The goal of the project is to support entry into apprenticeship and careers in the skilled trades.

Canadian Apprenticeship Service: Fanshawe Employer Resource Breakfast
Join us for breakfast at the beautiful Fanshawe College, London campus, while you learn about the Government of Canada’s Canadian Apprenticeship Service (CAS) and how to access funding to support the hiring and retention of new, Level One apprentices in 39 Red Seal trades within the construction, manufacturing, and landscaping industries.
CAF-FCA’s CAS is being delivered through a collaboration of industry-leading partners: BuildForce Canada, SkillPlan, ApprenticeSearch.com, Aboriginal Apprenticeship Board and the Canadian Construction Association. The program will provide a range of supports, in addition to the grant, to the expert trainers of Canada’s future skilled trades workforce.
You will also have an opportunity to learn about the supports and resources available through Community Employment Services Fanshawe as well as time to network with other businesses in your community.
