The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF) is a national, non-profit organization that promotes apprenticeship training across Canada, shares best practices and supports apprentice success. Our partner is Apprenticesearch.com. Apprenticesearch.com is an online platform that connects individuals interested in the trades with employers and supports individuals through job coaching and other supports.
CAF and Apprenticesearch.com are interested in better understanding your journey in the trades. Our goal is to help apprentices, like yourself, progress in the trades and advance their careers. We want to know where apprentices are experiencing barriers and what supports would help. We would also like to invite you to be a part of the apprenticeship community.
CAF is surveying all apprentices who were hired as Level 1s as a part of the Canadian Apprenticeship Service Program from September 2022 to March 2024. It aims to use the findings from this study to influence future apprenticeship programs and policies.
Responses are confidential and will not impact your apprenticeship in any way. Your name will not be used in the final report. If you have any additional questions about this study, please email Emily Arrowsmith, Director of Research and Programs, at emily@caf-fca.org.
