In preparation for CAF-FCA’s Annual General Meeting on October 26, 2017 in Ottawa, we are calling for nominations to fill seats subject to election. \u00a0Interested members should complete and submit a nomination form.Nominees must have a current and direct relationship to a member organization in good standing at the Champion, Patron or Supporter level. Nominations should be accompanied by the nominee’s written agreement to serve if elected and a brief (up to 1-page) biography. Nominations must be received no later than Monday, September 18, 2017.<\/p>\n

CAF-FCA’s Board of Directors is comprised of 15 apprenticeship community representatives – Jurisdictions (4 positions), Employers (4), Labour (4), Education (2) and Equity (1). Board appointments last for four years.<\/p>\n
The Board translates priorities identified by the membership into organizational goals and objectives. Directors consider a broad range of stakeholder input, establish strategic objectives, approve annual business plans and monitor results. Meetings take place three times a year, with travel costs paid by Directors and\/or their organizations.<\/p>\n
