{"id":4981,"date":"2022-06-27T17:08:09","date_gmt":"2022-06-27T17:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/caf-fca.org\/media_overview\/ocot-names-new-registrar\/"},"modified":"2022-10-17T20:13:18","modified_gmt":"2022-10-17T20:13:18","slug":"ocot-names-new-registrar","status":"publish","type":"media_overview","link":"https:\/\/caf-fca.org\/fr\/media_overview\/ocot-names-new-registrar\/","title":{"rendered":"OCOT Names New Registrar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Don Gosen, chair of the Board of Governors of the Ontario College of Trades (College)\u2014professional regulatory body that regulates and promotes Ontario\u2019s 156 trades in the public interest\u2014today announced the appointment of George Gritziotis as Registrar and CEO, effective October 16, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Gritziotis replaces outgoing College Registrar and CEO David Tsubouchi, who had announced his decision to retire this past June.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith George\u2019s extensive industry and government experience he\u2019s a natural fit to lead the College,\u201d says Gosen, the newly elected chair of the Board.<\/p>\n<p>Gritziotis has experience working in labour management partnerships in the construction, industrial, and services sectors on human resource development issues.
