Advancing the Career Ecosystem Project: Questionnaire for Women and Gender Diverse Pre-Apprentices and Apprentices Women in Red Seal Trades

The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, a national, non-profit organization, is surveying  participants as a part of the Women in Red Seal Trades-Advancing the Career Ecosystem project.  Through this project, partners, including Sheridan College, Durham College, St. Clair College, Fanshawe College and Unifor, will:

  • create awareness
  • connect women with opportunities to explore career education,
  • facilitate networking, and
  • promote apprenticeships in the Red Seal skilled trades.

The goal is to increase the participation and retention rates of women in Red Seal trades in Ontario.

This questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Your participation in this research is voluntary. The results to the survey are confidential. You may choose not to answer certain questions and may withdraw at any time. Your responses will be used only for the purpose of this research project and will not be disclosed to any other organization.  The results from questionnaire will be aggregated and summarized in a report before being shared with Employment and Social Development Canada.  All responses will be destroyed permanently once the project is completed in March 2026.
