Call for CAF-FCA Board Nominations

In preparation for CAF-FCA’s Annual General Meeting on October 26, 2017 in Ottawa, we are calling for nominations to fill seats subject to election.  Interested members should complete and submit a nomination form.Nominees must have a current and direct relationship to a member organization in good standing at the Champion, Patron or Supporter level. Nominations should be accompanied by the nominee’s written agreement to serve if elected and a brief (up to 1-page) biography. Nominations must be received no later than Monday, September 18, 2017.

CAF-FCA’s Board of Directors is comprised of 15 apprenticeship community representatives – Jurisdictions (4 positions), Employers (4), Labour (4), Education (2) and Equity (1). Board appointments last for four years.

The Board translates priorities identified by the membership into organizational goals and objectives. Directors consider a broad range of stakeholder input, establish strategic objectives, approve annual business plans and monitor results. Meetings take place three times a year, with travel costs paid by Directors and/or their organizations.
