The Impact of COVID-19 on Apprentices in Canada
CAF-FCA wanted to better understand how COVID-19 is impacting apprentices in various regions and sectors. Apprentices were asked about their physical and mental health, technical training, employment, health and safety on-the-job, needed information and retention in the skilled trades. Gathering apprentice perspectives during the pandemic identifies the emerging challenges these learners are experiencing and helps apprenticeship stakeholders create responsive solutions.
